Holding Up Thy Sky!!

(for our Pandemic kids and learners)

Children need to feel someone is holding up the sky,  and when recently they could not learn to read on zoom-- especially if they did first, second, and third grade outside of a heathy, creative learning environment--then they might feel that no one is holding up the sky beneath them. Many children are now too defeated and humiliated to go back to the basics. They may feel too broken to begin tackling reading again. They can't handle any more bad feelings about themselves. They don't want to experience something that makes them feel worse. And Yes, all that is a huge barrier to reading.

So is living in a home that became more disruptive because someone lost a job, or got sick, or someone could not handle stress and took it out on others. Maybe a child got bullied by other siblings

So many factors came into play, and our impressionable Generation Alpha Children took it in and thought they were at fault, because it makes more sense to them that way.  It must be me! I can't be the whole word!!!
